THERE IS ALWAYS JOY TO BE FOUND

THERE IS ALWAYS JOY TO BE FOUND

In the childs infectious laughter
In the twinkle in their eyes
In the sound of a bubbling brook
In the clouds up in the sky

In the squirrels scampering in trees
In the way they ask for corn
In the beauty of Natures gifts
In the hopes of spotting a Unicorn

In the wonder of sparkling crystals
In the way snow covers trees
In the fun of sledding down hills
In the way we shout with glee

In the times we spend with family
In the way we laugh and sing
In the hugs and love we give them
In the joy of gift giving.....

~~ALEENA RAVENWOOD

Where do you find joy?
Feel free to add to this Never Ending Poem!

In the scent of puppies' breath
In the way kittens play
In the way they run and frolic
In the warmth of a sunny day

Beautiful poem Aleena! Thanks for sharing

I find joy in reading my sisters' posts!

I adore your poem, Aleena/BJ. It made me smile. Obviously, I'm not a poet... at all... because I'm having a hard time coming up with an improtu add-on to your poem. Will chime in again later.... hopefully to contribute. Definitely to read what others have added!

In the hanging of the lights
In the way to gleam and glisten
In the way the song is sung
In the voices of carolers, shhh listen

This is a wonderful poem and a wonderful idea to continue it. I can't wait to see the finished product and I hope my verse makes the cut!

I find joy in the warmth of my sweats and down filled coat. It's a cold one today. Snow is on the way.

In the nuzzle of a pet's nose,
In the fuzzy hugs they give,
In the way my husband teases,
In the joyous life we live.

Gah. I stink at this. But I tried!

Great job! I plan on adding all of these to my poem along with the names of those who wrote them.

In the little girls' angelic faces
In the promise of their futures so bright
In the feel of little sweet kisses
In the beauty of a starry night
