That is one of my favorite lines from The A-Team. " I pity the fool" is another one. Hannibal, Faceman, Murdock and of course, B.A. Four men on the run helping people out of bad situations all over the world.
I remember watching The A-Team with my sisters. We would get so excited every time it would come on. We would laugh when B.A. would trow a fit about getting on an airplane. They always had to knock him out somehow. Hannibal coming up with the best plans, Face always getting the girl and Murdock doing something crazy. You knew how it was going to turn out, but it was so much fun to watch. I think Murdock was my favorite because he was so crazy and could get away with just about anything.
Now a movie has been made of The A-Team. I'm not sure if that is good or bad. I hope they stay true to the characters. I wouldn't want to see anything change about them. They were fun and lovable on the T.V. show and I think they should stay that way. I'll hold my judgment until I have seen the movie.
There are other shows that we watched together as children. MacGyver and V are two of them. V is now a new series. I watched a couple episodes and wasn't impressed about it. I would love to see what someone could do with MacGyver. That was my favorite show growing up. I still try to "MacGyver" things.
Did you watch The A-Team as a child.? If so, who was your favorite character? What childhood show would you like to see remade.

Oh, the A-Team was my favorite! I had a huge crush on Face-Man and always believed Murdock was faking his insanity.
BJ
There is a movie coming out that is a spoof on MacGuyver called MacGruber. It looks pretty funny in a silly way.

Hi Berinn
I believe Murdock was faking as well, but at least he got to do crazy things.
Hi Bren
I haven't seen any previews for that yet. I'll have to check it out.
I loved The A-Team! I had the biggest crush on Dirk Benedict. I'm not sure what to think of the movie remake. What I've seen looks reminiscent of the show, so that's good. Not entirely sure about the casting though. I like Bradley Cooper but he doesn't do it for me like Dirk Benedict did back in the day.
And I don't care for the new V either. I barely made it through one episode.
Hi Tori
I think we all had a crush on Dirk Benedict. I had a small one on Mr. T as well.
I think I watched two episode of V Before I gave up on it. I did watch the whole original series not too long ago and enjoyed it.
I saw the preview for The A-Team movie, looked intriguing. For me, it would be totally new as I (would you believe it?) never saw the show.
BJ,
You know how much I loved the A-Team. I can still hear those bullets spelling out the name. Also loved MacGyver. I still say, "I'm about to MacGyver this." My kids don't understand at all which makes it even more funny.
Does anyone remember the Great Gazoo from the Flintstones? I loved that little green guy.

I can't believe you haven't seen The A-team. If you can find any episodes on-line, give them a try. It was a very funny action show.
Barb
I forgot about the bullets spelling out the name. I can still hear the theme song in my head.
Yes, I do remember the Great Gazoo. I loved it as well.
A-Team and MacGyver were on when I was big time 'on the road'. I was performing the nights they were on and, living in hotels, I didn't have a VCR. So... I'm clueless here. :) What's 'V'?

I was a secret A-Team fan, too. I watched MacGuyver sometimes. I have a friend who can look at something, decide what needs to be done/how to fix it, go to his van to get stuff and presto -- it's done. We call him McDrewver.
