Do you ever just look out at the night sky and imagine the endless possibilities of other galaxies? Surely, one of those stars out there is a sun to a whole other set of planets. It’s hard for me to believe that Earth could be the only planet with life forms such as us.
My post today is a short one. Just a couple questions really. I’m interested in your thoughts on this subject.
Do you think there are other galaxies like our own, with planets that support life?
What sort of life forms do you think are out there? Would they be like us, or more like the aliens often depicted in movies?
If given the chance, would you fly to the moon, or better yet, a far away planet in another galaxy, where you could start a new life?
Please share your thoughts and have a Way out Wednesday!

Hi Bren
1. Yes, I believe ther are other galaxies. I have seen a UFO. The same night that I saw it, two police officers reported the same thing.
2. I don't know what they would look like. Maybe they look like us and walk among us as we speak.
3.I would much prefer to keep my feet firmly planted on Mother Earth.
Brandy should have some stories about what happened not long ago near where she lives.
Yes I believe there is other life out there. I am with BJ on the appearance... who know's what they may look like.
The incident BJ brought up has actually been on the SYFY network. I haven't seen the special, but mom has a couple of times.
I guess there was lots of noise and a bright flash of light and then a "crash" It was first reported that a small personal plane has crashed just south of town. Then supposedly there wasn't any crash and the Air Force was claiming they had not been doing any drills or exercises that night. Next thing you know the story changes and the Air Force claims they we doing exercises and what everyone saw and heard was light from a jet and sonic booms.
Seems pretty funny how stories kept changing. Maybe they found the "aircraft" that crashes and it wasn't from here. The had to find a way to cover up.
Oh I forgot... No way do I want to fly to outer space. I guess I'll have to be happy with my life here!!!
Hi Brandy, I have seen the episode. It was pretty good. The cover up reminds me of Roswell.
1. It seems unlikely that there aren't other planets out there like ours. But who knows?
2. No clue. I just hope they aren't like the people on the show V. *g*
3. I'd only want to go to another planet if ships could travel at warp speed. And had gravity and stuff. :)
Hi Bren,
I'm with Tori. I assume there are other galaxies and planets out there.
I can't say that I remember having any experiences with aliens but occasionally I'll wonder if someone I know could possibly be from this planet. Sometimes people do and say the stupidest things.
I'd go to another planet if they serve cocktails on the shuttle.

I've always thought it's pretty arrogant to think we're the only living beings in this galaxy or any other. Surely there must be life forms on other planets... somewhere. Whatever they look like, I hope they're a kinder, gentler race than the human race.
As to UFOs, Brandy and BJ, I'm not surprised you saw one. Must be something about that neck of the woods. Grandma Childers swore to me that she saw two UFOs hovering right over Egypt Hill. I'll never forget how serious and animated she was when she told me the story. She totally beleived she saw 'flying saucers'. Gives me the chills just thinking about it!
As for traveling to another planet... when I was a kid, I thought it would be cool to be an astronaut. But now I'm older and have phobias. I can't see being cooped up in a shuttle in space any more than being in a submerine under water. Although it would be interesting to visit another planet. I think I'll wait until technology can 'beam me up.' :-)

Hello all!
I believe they just have to be out there and I believe that somewhere there are beings that somewhat resemble us.
Brandy, I think I remember that episode on the SYFY channel. It is funny how the stories change.
Beth, I remember vaguely that Grandma swore she had seen a UFO. I'd forgotten about it, but if she said she saw it, then I believe it.
Barb, I'm with you. I think I might take that flight to another world, just as long as they serve some beverages.
