I make a great bloody mary. If I am making it from scratch, I start with Clamato. It is a greast base!! Then just add some pepper, lemon, tobassco, worchestchire, garlic pepper, and olives. Oh yeah, how did I forget the vodka?!?!? You don't need any fancy brand, but if you put just a little extra in relaxation will find you in no time!! For a quick bloody mary, the Zing Zang mix is great. You don't even really need to add anything but the alcohol.
It's pretty sad that I couldn't think of anything else to post about, but oh well. I want to know what your drink of choice is. If you have any yummy recipes let us have them. Come on... we'll just have happy hour all day long.

Brandy,
This is a good post. I'd love some new drink recipes! ONe of my favorites, though not really a recipe, is Mimosas. Love them! A little orange juice, a lot of champagne and my taste buds are dancing. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be more O.J. than champagne, but what fun is that. I've also had it with cranberry juice and champagne. That's pretty good too.

I really like this post today. My two fav drinks are Long Island Iced Tea and Sex on the Beach. I am not sure how to make either of these but they really can give me a relaxing night. Great topic today Aunt Brandy!
Barb,
I have had some very relaxing days with you and our friend mimosa. So yummy!! I agree, just a splash of orange juice.
Michael,
Both of your picks are good too. I don't know how to make them either but for the long island you could probably throw just about any alcohol together and come close! Just add some sweet and sour when you're done. Miss You
Being diabetic, I don't drink. I'd rather save my calories for food. *g* So I'll just stick with my Diet Coke.
There are several I like, but I'll mention three: For the beer drinkers there's Snakebite, which is half lager and half hard cider, either mixed or layered which is a cool visual. For the mixed drinkers there's Purple Hooters, which is Vodka, Chambourd, and 7 Up. And last but not least is authentic Absinthe, which is a very acquired taste and impossible to get in the U.S. If you don't like the taste of black licorice, I would stay away from it. I also like a good Merlot or Cabernet.
Chris,
Oooh yuck!! Black licorice. That makes me think of jagermeister. Hate it!!! I am not a beer drinker, but I can do hard cider. That purple hooter thing doesn't sound too bad.
Tori,
I'd probably better off without alcohol... but I just like it soooo much. Oh, that sort of makes it sound like I have a problem huh? Thats ok, I don't drink soft drinks maybe that helps balance me out!!
Chris,
Purple Hooters brings back a lot of memories. All good, of course. I believe I shared quite a few of those with you!
Brandy,
I could use a couple of Mimosa's tonight. Long day at work!

Elle,
You and Brenda were the ones who turned me on to Purple Hooters in the first place, mostly at Harpo's. Not that I'm complaining, mind you.
Easy. O07
Orange Barcadi, orange juice and 7up or orange vodka, orange juice, 7up. Take your pick.
A totally cute bartender in Vegas put me on to those drinks.
Well, here it is 11:00 at night and just home from work. Guess what I'm relaxing with. Anyone who knows me knows my drink of choice is red wine. Merlot or Cabernet.
Chris,
I knew when I saw your name that Snakebite would be one of your choices. I remember sharing one with you on your birthday once.
Linda,
I like the sound of that 007. Sounds good and I may have to have one of those the next time I come across a "totally cute bartender" and I hope I'm in Vegas when it happens!

Brenda,
Yeah, that's right, but I think that version was Southern Comfort & Peppermint Schnapps, which I really like too. When I typed earlier that you and Elle turned me on to Purple Hooters I was so thinking that I should have worded it differently! And I'm shocked that you're drinking red wine...NOT.
Chris,
If a friend can't turn a guy on to Purple Hooters, then what kind of friend is she really?
I don't remember what was in the Snakebite that we had, but I do remember that I think I would have rather have been bitten by a snake! They were quite toxic!
