It's Almost TV Time

Saturday, September 11, 2010

The new fall network television season is almost here, and there are several shows that I'm really looking forward to seeing. 'NCIS', 'House', 'Chuck', and 'The Mentalist' are at the top of my list. What's on your 'must see' list for this season?

Krys,

In the past I have had so many. This year I've told myself I must cut back. Otherwise, there would be no time for writing.

Top of my list is Criminal Minds. I've seen every episode and I think it started in 2005 or 2006. Not a chance I'd miss one. My other must is Grey's Anatomy.

Have a great weekend!

Krys,

I'm with Elle on Criminal Minds and with you on NCIS. I also love Fringe and The Good Guys.

I can't wait for the season premiere of Glee! Yes, I am an absolute Gleek. I also love Desperate Housewives and Modern Family and there are a few new shows this season that I want to check out -- Hawaii Five-O, Lone Star, and No Ordinary Family.

I will also admit to being a fan of Dancing With The Stars. I haven't regularly watched Survivor in a few years but will tune in this season just to see how NFL football coach/analyst Jimmy Johnson does.

Well, I got into Glee towards the end of the season so I probably will check it out again.

I'm totally a Chuck fan, and still on board with the Mentalist. I'm really looking forward to "Who Do You Think You Are".

Krys,

I LOVED Chuck, but hubby couldn't get into it...bummer. I love Modern Family but somehow missed it this past season. The Good Guys, as BJ mentioned is great, but I think it's already gone into re-runs.

Has anyone seen the ads for a show about a call center where most of the workers are Indian but can cop a great southern (or any other) accent? I thought it looked interesting and funny. I can't think of the name for the life of me.

Brenda - The show you're thinking of is called "Outsourced", and it does look pretty funny.

Wendy - Can't wait to see who they profile this season on "Who Do You Think You Are". Last season had some real good ones!

Mary - I agree with you about "Hawaii 5-0". It'll be interesting to see how Alex goes from being a vampire to a transplant surgeon to a detective.

BJ - I tried to get into "Fringe" but I just couldn't do it. Haven't caught "The Good Guys" yet.

Elle- Everything in moderation, that's a good way to look at it. Got your priorities in order and you have to make time for your writing as you said.

As much as I like some ideas for remaking shows from the past, seems that most of the time they don't work.

I feel for Alex and hope that Hawaii 5-0 does work, but I have my strong doubts.

Outsourced does look funny! :D
