Happy Labor Day

Monday, September 6, 2010

The coffee's brewing. There's a storm outside. The sound of thunder woke me this morning as it rumbled past my window. Ahhh...It's a good day. Many don't care for a storm on a holiday, but I wouldn't be one of those. Today I'll cozy up on the chaise with a good book and then I'll do some writing of my own this afternoon.

And that's all I've got for ya, folks!
Enjoy your holiday!

Enjoy your day. I'm going to be writing two guest blogs today. And I'll hop over to JCP for 1/2 price curtains. Your day sounds more fun!

My goodness, your day sounds similar to mine. I don't intend to get in my car and go anywhere, but I do intend to start reading a new book this afternoon.

Edie,

1/2 price curtains? Actually, that does sound like fun. I love how just changing out the curtains can change the entire look for a room. Enjoy!

Mary Jo,

I just finished one book and am looking through my TBR pile for another. What are you reading today?

Sunny here, and for once, not humid! Took a break from working on the new synop to sit in the backyard and read on my Kindle. So nice! Now it's back to the dreaded synop. Which actually isn't going too badly. :)

Happy Holiday!

Barb

Your day sounds great. I had to work today. Now I'm to blah to do anything.

Elle,

I started a novel by Tana French, Faithful Place. My girlfriend gave it to me to read because she loved it.

Beth,

I'm glad you were able to take a break and get some reading in! As for your synopsis, I hope it continues to go well.

Yes, Tori, it is a good day!

BJ,

I understand that. Maybe make yourself a cup of tea and then just be blah on the couch.

Mary Jo,

First off, I did a search and typed in Tanya French...Um, so not the right person. Phew, I was a little worried. The 2nd time around I spelled Tana's name correctly and checked out her sight. Faithful Place looks like a fantastic read. Once you're done, let me know what you think. I'm pretty sure I need to add this to my TBR pile!
